/ SOLO - SOMETHING IN THE WATER - MARJOLEIN VAN HAASTEREN

From Saturday 1st of May 2021 we will be exhibiting the fascinating paintings of Marjolein van Haasteren in her solo exhibition 'Something In The Water'.
In Van Haasteren's words:
"Water has been a recurring theme in my work for years. It flows, flows and ripples, and is therefore a rewarding theme to translate in a painting. I have become curious about how people who deal with water on a daily basis experience this element. Time to start a larger series about water: Project Something in the Water For this project I speak with people for whom water is the daily working environment I translate the conversations into a painting using the personal element in the stories. You don't get to see the current state of affairs, but you do get an ode to draw attention to the magnificent element of water."
